Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers compete in the National Football Conference (NFC) South division. The club joined the NFL as an expansion team in 1976.
During the 1979 season, the buccaneers were the first expansion team to win a division championship. They also won a playoff game, and both hosted and played the conference championship game in this same season.
